About: Wantirna Health

(as the patient),

A young doctor at Wantirna Palliative Care, unfortunately, engrossed with their own academic importance, has lost the humanitarian approach to a very dear elderly patient and their family. Sometimes maybe look outside the square 😢

Dear concerned neighbour

Thank you so much for sharing feedback on your experience on Patient Opinion. I value any and all feedback so we can celebrate the good things and look for opportunities to improve. I would like to apologise for your experience with the young doctor at Wantirna Palliative Care.

I would like to share your experience with the Director of Supportive and Palliative Care so your experience can be used to learn from and as you so highlight, make sure we use a humanitarian approach with patients and families.

Wishing you and your family all the very best and thank you again for bringing this to my attention.

Kind regards

David
