"Sydney Private Hospital."

About: The Sydney Private Hospital

(as the patient),

I will not go to this hospital again, two nurses were great, but I felt the rest couldn’t give a hoot. Walked into the room and thought omg and I paid over 2 grand a night for something that hasn’t changed since the 50’s, the television was on the blink, a light wasn’t working and no towels or soap in the bathroom. After my op a nurse took my blood pressure and said that it’s very low, I saw how the arm monitor was put on and said maybe turn this around, they did and found that my blood pressure was ok. My throat was so swollen that I thought I was chocking. I told the nurses and they said, that’s no good, and walked out, they actually looked confused. Panadol was brought in (them knowing my throat was swollen) and they handed it to me, I asked them to cut them in half as one got stuck in my throat they did this, but seemed like they couldn’t care less that I felt like I was choking. Apparently they should have offered me soluble panadol but they didn’t.

I think the food is terrible also . I will definitely be avoiding this hospital. A contrast to go to St Lukes - fantastic nurses and food .
