"A place to call home"

To all the staff at Riverlea,

A big thank you for giving my mum a place to call home. Whenever I had been out with mum upon our return to Riverlea, she would say, ‘Home Sweet Home’. This was reassuring for both my brother and I, as we knew we had chosen the right place.

The last week at Riverlea was one of the toughest of my life. You all showed such kindness and support, I will hold that forever in my heart. Thank you.

P.S The white blanket with all previous residents names sewn on to it was such a considerate and special touch. When I first saw it, my hear felt such warmth.

Loads of appreciation and gratitude.

Dear kindness and support

First of all, please allow me to express our condolences to you and your family at this time. Your feedback is very moving and as always, makes us realise just how important it is to get the little things right.

Secondly, thank you for taking the time to write at what must be a very difficult time for you and your family. I was really warmed by your comments and so proud of our staff at Riverlea for being there and making a difference when you needed them most.

As you may know, our commitment is to "enriching lives" and reading your story makes me feel that we went quite some way in achieving that.

Thank you again, kindness and support, for taking the time to get in touch. I will have great pleasure sharing this feedback with our Residence Manager, Faye and her wonderful team at Riverlea.
