The care I have received as a maternity patient at Bunbury Hospital has been outstanding. The birth of my baby did not go to plan and there were a lot of complications, but the staff were so amazing that the experience overall has been as good as it could be. The MGP (Midwifery Group Practice) is fantastic, I think it was because I was so well informed and supported by this program that I could cope with all of the challenges during my labour. The Obstetric team was professional and explained everything really well. My only complaint is the bedside manner of the paediatrician the day after. It felt like he made it all about him, in my opinion he behaved arrogantly and left me feeling a bit bullied. Overall though a wonderful experience and I can't thank all the staff involved in my care enough for everything they did for me.
