"Thanks to the lovely staff"

About: St John of God Murdoch Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

My young child had an operation done here recently on St Michael's Ward. The nurses were fantastic and the surgeon and anaesthetist really professional and experienced. The staff love kids and we felt at ease the whole time. It was all very non traumatic. My only suggestion would be that you need to educate an admissions staff member a bit more. I think this staff member was new on the job, but they were telling everyone to press the yellow staff assist bell rather than the regular nurse call bell. She also didn’t alert the nurses when she put us in our room. Luckily the afternoon tea lady was super nice and informed the nurses we had arrived. All in all I would totally recommend this hospital.
