(as the patient),

I attended Pemberton Hospital with acute distress caused by constipation.  My GP, when told of my condition by my partner (I had seen him that morning) telephoned the hospital and arranged for me to be admitted.  My treatment by all staff, medical and administrative was superb and I was able to be discharged the following morning.
A profound thank you to all concerned and it demonstrates the effectiveness and necessity for local hospitals of this type.
