"Recent 4 night admission at Sydney Eye Hospital"

I attended a routine eye specialist appointment with Dr Clare and was told I required admission to Sydney Eye Hospital for treatment and investigation for Optic Neuritis.  My admission was complicated by a fracture to my foot which I sustained prior to the admission.

All staff at Sydney Eye Hospital should be incredibly proud of the care they provide.  All staff were very attentive and willing to help whenever required.  I spent 4 days watching staff providing care to patients who were elderly with high level needs, nothing was ever too much trouble, even popping in just to see everyone was ok. I also witnessed extreme rudeness from a patient awaiting discharge meds, staff handled this extremely professionally.  I felt extremely safe and well cared for during my stay.
