I had 5 beautiful weeks at Carol Allen nursing home in 2017 and enjoyed every day. It is an attractive and easily negotiated home with different lounge/dining areas for each section of the home and a common dining room for all residents. Food was perfect - obliging friendly helpful kitchen staff. Nearly all the nurses were wonderful - never will find that anywhere else these days, not even in hospital. Very relaxed rules and high tolerance of my higher than expected independence. Want desperately to be back there.
