I took ill on the 2nd week of our holidays and ended up in Armadale Hospital. From the moment we arrived in reception they knew the problem, and I then was seen by the nurse within minutes. I was quickly seen by a doctor who soon realised I was very poorly. All the staff were very pleasant, caring and very helpful. As I was on holiday from England, they sorted out the insurance without any bother to me. I felt very relaxed and comfortable knowing I was in good hands. I was only there 36 hours but my stay was made very comfortable by the staff on the ward. I then was transferred to Royal Perth Hospital where I had an operation to remove my gallbladder. Once again I was treated very well by the medics who transferred me by ambulance to the hospital and on arrival onto a ward. It was good to know being in Australia the hospitals treated their visitors well. I did make a good recovery thanks to the care and attention of the staff. I was able to go home to England 2 weeks later.
"Wonderful care received while ill on holidays"
