I recently was admitted for an investigative day procedure at Albany Health Campus. Prior to admission I was interviewed about my health by the pre-admission nurse who sent me good information about the procedure. On admission I was treated with respect by all the staff who verified all my details to ensure I had the correct procedure and any potential risks were minimised.
As far as I am aware the procedure was uneventful and successful as was my recovery. Prior to discharge the recovery nurse showed me the procedure notes and informed me that I will get a follow-up appointment with the specialist. I was also provided with relevant information sheets prior to discharge.
The admission and discharge was conducted efficiently and professionally. Sincere thanks to all the staff.
