My child was in a ward for an eating disorder. There were other children also with eating disorders. The patient bathroom has a large mirror directly opposite the shower. There is no screen. This means when showering the patient can see themselves full length in the mirror. For a child with an eating disorder this can be very confronting and distressing. Perhaps a smaller mirror or a screen or the ability to darken the mirror would be of benefit.
