I live alone and I'm at Pennwood Village on respite. The staff here are all kind, beautiful and meals are always fresh Serbian meals.
The staff have always been good to me. Very friendly staff, I love everyone here and definitely want to come back. I have a heart condition and I require monthly checkups. I use the heart foundation pillow to remind me of their telephone number. I have been waiting for a Home Care package Level 3 for over a year and I'm hoping to be offered a Level 1 package in 6 months time. I worry about being home alone and the security of the house because the neighbours all work. Pennwood has a social inclusion program and Anne the CE has arranged for the volunteer bus driver to pick me up from home and take me to the Aged Care Facility for the day. I can have lunch and then be driven home.
