"The care given to my partner upon our arrival to Broome Hospital"

My partner was very ill and ended up needing surgery very quickly. The care, respect and attention he was given by the medical, nursing, kitchen, cleaning, and office staff was nothing short of brilliant we can't thank you all enough. The end result is he is now recovering well and with a little time will make a full recovery. Thank you to the Broome Hospital.

…becoming very ill… were you and your partner far from home? (you posted this from Murray, Victoria)…he is brought to our hospital…found to need emergency surgery… where all our staff demonstrated person-centred care for your partner…who is now recovering well….and is on course to make a full recovery.

Yours is a good story with a happy ending!

When vulnerable and at low ebb, what matters to patients and their carers is how kind and diligent we givers are in going about our jobs caring for you, no matter what the role is. When sick, small acts of kindness mean a lot.

Your post brings this out. Thank you very much for sharing it with us.
