My husband has Myeloma (cancer of the blood) and we have exceptional service, and we would like to say thank you.
My husband was accepted into a clinical trial at Haematology under Prof Andrew and I have to say the service and support we have received is exceptional.
Flora, our patient contact person, is always following up any issue or missing script or finding the answers to our questions.
The nurses on the ward are in attendance - often giving up a lunch break to attend to patient needs - we can't thank them enough.
We recently started a process through several departments to obtain tests and results ready for Stem Cell Transplant. We attended at least 6 different departments between 8am and 1pm to complete several tests and every person was attentive, acted with compassion and saw to our continual movement through the schedule of appointments. Thank you for making processes smooth and time efficient and supportive as I had to take the day off work to support my husband and I am currently the only income earner for our family, and being self-employed means time = income. Having such wonderful support makes a big difference. Thanks to the people behind the scenes who help make this happen in practice.
