After an operation to strip the veins in my legs I was booked into the Acute Wound Care at Geraldton Regional Hospital to dress two ulcers one on each leg. What an amazing team of Health Care Professionals.
Each of the nurses who attended me were highly skilled, sensitive to my pain threshold, competent in what they were doing and not afraid to ask a colleague for advice or input, if required. All engendered confidence in me that I was in the right place to obtain the best possible treatment.
After 6 weeks of painstaking and skillful caring I am pleased to report 1 ulcer has healed and the other is well on its way to healing and this is after nearly 4 years of various treatments.
I can't speak highly enough of the treatment I received from the considerate, experienced, efficient, caring and truely awesome nurses.
