(as a parent/guardian),

My child was hit by a car and sadly didn’t survive. I thought the staff were amazing. I saw myself how hard they all worked, including ambulance officers trying to keep our precious girl with us. It just was too much damage and I am confident doctors, nurses and ambulance officers all did as much as they possibly could. I will be forever grateful for how hard they tried to save her. Just wanted them all to know it meant so much to us.

Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. A young life taken is such a tragedy. The Emergency Department staff are exposed to some challenging situations and I am sure they will take comfort in receiving your gratitude for their efforts.
