"Felt unimportant and abandoned"

I had an operation at Peel Health Campus. I was admitted as a private patient first night in a private room was told by doctor need to stay a second and maybe a third night because of pain I was in. Some time after 8pm nurses come into my room telling me I have to be moved. When I ask why, they said they could not tell me, but did say it was because I was in under DVA (Department of Veteran's Affairs). I was then promptly moved to public part of hospital, into a room that had mattresses shoved in the room and the room was a mess. Even the nurses said it was one of the worst rooms that we have. No toilets and I wasn't told where toilets were I could use. I suffer from severe PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). This sent my PTSD off, I was very stressed and had no sleep for 2 days - to the point I told my doctor when he eventually found where I was that I need to get out. So he got me to get a CT scan to see if things were ok to send me home. This took all day to have done. This made me feel that I was worthless and not worth the hospital's time. It seemed easier to just put me somewhere to be forgot about.
