"Big thank you to the doctor at Emergency Department at Monash Clayton Hospital"

My mother was recently admitted to Monash Hospital via Emergency Department with strong pain in stomach.

We would like to say a Big Thank you to Dr. Scott who was treating my mother and provided correct diagnosis - Appendicitis. Diagnosing appendicitis can be tricky because symptoms of appendicitis are frequently vague or extremely similar to other ailments.

Dr.Scott has demonstrated high professionalism, quickly organised all required tests, provided correct diagnosis (Appendicitis ) for my mother, organised an interpreter in the middle of the night and organised urgent operation for my mother. Operation was organised and performed very quickly so the appendicitis has not burst.

If we have more doctors like Dr.Scott we will have more healthy and happy patients, shorter waiting time at the Emergency Departments at the Hospitals and I believe less expensive procedures at the Hospitals because in some cases the timely diagnosis and treatment is very critical for the life of the patient and the costs of the required treatment or procedures.

I believe we need more doctors like Dr.Scott.
