"Treatment recieved at Bunbury Hosptial Emergency Department"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I just wanted to give you some good feedback about a recent experience my family had at Bunbury Hospital.

My husband and I had to bring our young son into the ED. It turned out he has suspected torsion of the testes. He was seen in ED by Dr Bosco. Surgery was organised and he was operated on that afternoon.

My husband and I were so happy with the care we received. We especially are very grateful to Dr Bosco. He was very professional, polite and explained everything that was happening. He really did put us all at ease, especially my frightened young son. He is very warm, caring and compassionate. He is a real asset to have in the ED, especially when dealing with stressed parents and children.

All the doctors and nursing staff from ED, surgery and the ward were also lovely, respectful and couldn’t do more to help us. I especially wanted to thank the 2 nurses that looked after my son on the Paeds Ward. They were so lovely and helpful.

We also want to sincerely thank the surgeons that operated and took care of our son. They were so nice and respectful, and once again put our minds at ease.

Again, we thank everyone involved for their professionalism and genuine care given to our family.

Warm Regards

Dear cruxsk74

Thank you for your positive post on Patient Opinion. Your feedback has been very welcomed and passed onto Dr Busco and the rest of the team.

It was really pleasing to see the whole journey through the ED, surgery and paediatric ward was positive.

Thanks again for posting on Patient Opinion and I hope your son is now fully recovered.

Regards

Glen Matters
