About: Margaret River Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Recently I went to the Margaret River Hospital twice in one week as I was feeling really unwell and couldn’t get a doctors appointment. The staff are fantastic there, the emergency department was really busy and overcrowded, the staff did an amazing job in such a crowded space. Margaret River is a growing community and the emergency department needs to be extended. I feel sorry for the staff that have to work in such conditions. Other than that as always, it was excellent. The boss of the hospital even rang me later to see if I was okay.

We value the feedback that we receive from our community as it helps us to recognise our staff. I will take great pleasure in passing your feedback onto our emergency department.

The emergency department can get busy at times and it was great to hear that the staff managed so well.

We are currently looking into how we can expand on the site and the ED is the main focus of this.
