"Canberra Hospital Paediatric Fracture Clinic"

All I want is a moon boot for my child who broke their foot. The foot was strapped up at Calvary Hospital and we were referred to Canberra Hospital.  I called Canberra Hospital and this the sequence:

Canberra Hospital - Fracture Clinic (left message - Canberra Hospital - Fracture Clinic - Fracture Clinic nurses (no answer, left message, cut off) - Canberra Hospital - Fracture Clinic - Canberra Hospital - Paediatric Fracture Clinic (didn't know anything, even if they had stock of moon boots and crutches for kids, referred back to Adult Fracture Clinic) - Canberra Hospital - Adult Fracture Clinic - Health Direct - please wait a week.

Still no moon boot or crutches, immobile unhappy child in pain, no appointment, no moon boot.

I think this is ridiculous.
