"Personal care and hygiene"

About: Sapphire Care Oakleigh

(as a relative),

My father was in respite for 3 days. He is blind. He was not showered or had his clothes changed in that time. His bathroom was not cleaned the waste paper not removed and the toilet paper not put on the roll. He is blind so couldn't do any of these things himself. It was hard enough to hand him over to someone else for care and have him treated like that. We were told by the staff on duty they don't have time to shower every day. Degrading for him and not up to the standard we signed the contract for.
