"Fabulous care at Perth Children's Hospital"

About: Perth Children's Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

We took our febrile, lethargic, dehydrated young child to Perth Children's Hospital recently and received fabulous care. From an efficient triage system to a welcoming waiting room with balloon animals, colouring supplies, interactive light displays and warm, modern decor. We were quickly assessed by both nurse and doctor and received high-quality care that was attentive and considered our needs and preferences. Nurse Jess and Doctor Kate were great... friendly, helpful, answered all questions and approached our daughter's care in an efficient and effective manner. So impressed with the facilities and staff at this awesome new hospital.

Dear Happy Mummy

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Perth Children’s Hospital about what must have been an extremely stressful time for you. Each staff member who engages with our patients and their families has the opportunity to create a positive experience and I am delighted that the care provided to your child was exemplary.

Your feedback will be ready at the daily hospital huddle so that all staff can be made aware of it. Should you wish to nominate any particular staff member or team for a consumer award, you may do so by emailing CAHS.comms@health.wa.gov.au

Thank you again for your post and please accept my best wishes for your child.

Kind regards

Dr Victor Cheng
