After my (personal) horrendous experience with the pico-preparation day-before-diet, I attended Kerang's lovely new hospital with great trepidation, knowing what was ahead, but uncomfortable about personal functions etc., whilst under anaesthetic!
I was greeted by and attended to by the kindest, most considerate nurses who re-assured me about everything I was not to worry about. (Are city employees comparable?) I was prepped a week earlier with a most unexpected ECG and was treated to more minor procedures which were totally unexpected.
A beautiful new hospital with wonderful staff and amenities I would recommend to anyone experiencing short-shrift in any overcrowded Melbourne institution. The meals which are also provided to the Meals On Wheels rota are apparently excellent, however the sandwiches and tea I received post-op were great and gratefully accepted!
A great country hospital!
