I was pregnant with twins in 2016 and was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix (IC) at 19 weeks. From then the hospital provided me with the greatest care with every attempt to prolong my pregnancy to viability. Sadly, I went into premature labour at 23 + 1 weeks and lost my twins. From the time that it was discovered I had IC through to the day my boys were delivered I was looked after so incredibly well by the staff at the Angliss, I would like to make particular mention Dr Chris, Wendy, Michelle, Deb and Alison who helped me through the most heartbreaking experience and ensured that I was given the most outstanding care and support.
My journey with the Angliss continued in late 2017 when I became pregnant again and 6 months ago I welcomed my beautiful baby girl. Throughout this pregnancy, I was again provided with the most wonderful care which led to a calm and informed labour and birth. All of the staff that I saw during my pregnancy, labour and stay at the hospital were wonderful however I would like to make particular mention to Dr Chris, Renee, Deb, Alison, Chipo and Michelle. I can not thank you enough for the level of care and support provided on my journey to motherhood.
