"Kempsey Hospital"

About: Kempsey District Hospital

(as the patient),

I went to Kempsey Hospital with a severe skin infection. As it was a Sunday, I could not get in to see my doctor to get my antibiotics, the ones he told me I would need if the infection had not cleared up. Well it had gotten worse not better so I did the right thing and walked a long distance to the hospital to get the antibiotics. At my appointment I felt I was treated like a baby who didn't know what I or my doctor was talking about by two staff members, one of whom was referred to by the other as "The boss". There were three other staff members who agreed with me and tried to get me my proper medication, but they were overruled by these two staff members, who I wonder if they were either too proud to admit they were wrong or were simply sadists, and ordered to give me the same useless cream that did not work (I had tried it for months and explained that clearly). The same cream that my doctor and I had already tried and realised it was not working. I felt they absolutely refused to listen. In my opinion, they both had smug looks on their faces as they spoke to me rudely and disrespectfully. I believe some people choose these authoritative potions because they enjoy abusing the power that comes with it.

I wouldn't want something like this happening to anyone else. Thank you.
