I felt my experience was as traumatic and hell. It started with broken beds in theatre. Given wrong meds in theatre and inadequate pain relief. I woke up in severe pain and had a catheter issue. I was screaming in pain and I felt they were ignoring me.  I woke up soaking wet. My hair was all knotted from dry blood and had to be cut out. I was moved 5 times and put in with a man who was very grotty in the bathroom. I found the food to be so disgusting. My urine was not removed from the toilet when I was asked to pee in a pan, due to catheter issues. The physio spent 2 mins with me. I was not given an electric bed like everyone else even though I have a lot of pain. I’ve had spinal surgeries and disease of the oesophageal achalasia.
