"Colonoscopy went wrong"

About: John Hunter Hospital

(as the patient),

Early last year I had a colonoscopy performed on me. The next day, I was in Emergency with a 2cm tear in my bowel, resulting in a colostomy on my left side. I was told that this would not be permanent and I would only have to wait for 6 months for the reversal. I saw a surgeon about this in the outpatients department, and was promised I would have to wait for 6 months, after 6 months another surgeon said he will do the reversal in 60 - 90 days, the time was up for 90 days in September 2018. Now we have January 2019 how much longer will I have to wait for the reversal procedure? I feel terrible having this bag on my side, I don't go out to anything anymore, I have to force myself to go shopping, people stare at me because my stomach is very large. I don't know how much longer I can put up with this. I am getting very depressed.
