People are always quick to complain about country health services. 

I want to go against the grain and thank WA Health for the increased use of Telehealth

I have just been to the Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital (KRH) now called The Kalgoorlie Health Campus for a video link to my pain specialist from Royal Perth Hospital who has treated me for over a decade now. 

Instead of driving 1200km plus, need to find accommodation and the other costs incurred with a trip to Perth I went to KRH, sat in an air-conditioned room and talked to a nice bloke who works at the hospital until my link was ready. 

The consult took about five minutes, but saved me so much time and inconvenience. 

Thanks to everyone involved. 

All in all, it was a great experience.
