"Parking and driving in the hospital"

Dear Sir/Madam, 

My comment is about the line-marking and directional arrows in the car park immediately adjacent to the pool area at the Peter James Centre, Burwood East. The lines and arrows in the car park accessed via Mahoney Road are very faded. Parts of the car park are one-directional but the arrows indicating the direction have faded to the point that it is very difficult to see in the evening. I have had several near-misses due to cars entering the car park from the wrong direction. I feel very unsafe at times driving in this small car park. Can you please arrange to have the car park re-marked to ensure my and others' safety on your property?

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience driving in the Peter James Centre site of Eastern Health. You have raised some very important points for us to make sure we can do better in, and I will make sure we have the lines repainted.

Your safety and of all who use these access routes is very important to me and the Executive team at Eastern Health and I will ask the Executive Director responsible for our Infrastructure Services to organise for these improvements to be made.

Thank you again for your feedback.

I thought I would let you know we have been making progress with the actions needed to address the issues you raised.

To ensure the traffic flows continue to be the most appropriate, a Traffic Engineer will review traffic flows with the site. This will be completed in the coming days and if the current traffic flows remain unchanged, the required upgrades will be made.

I am hopeful you will see these changes in the coming weeks and things will be much clearer for you and other users of these services.
