"Ulcerated colitus, chrohns disease"

About: Royal Adelaide Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

For three years my son has had no control over his bowel movements. Every medication has been tried. Finally there was a decision to permanently remove his bowel and have a bag fitted. Twice he has been booked in and twice they have cancelled. The last time not much notice given. Lost his accommodation money twice. We have closed our business and lost heaps. It seems no one wants to take responsibility for his mental health. He's had enough and wanted to end it. In my opinion, the whole show is a disgrace. It appears that no one gives a damn if you live north of Gepps Cross. I believe if you're in jail or in detention you get preferential treatment. Surely having bowel accidents numerous times a day says you need urgent treatment.

I think it's a disgrace and I am exploring every avenue to rectify this and get a positive outcome for my son. I'll be looking at compensation and sort out who is accountable for his mental health, so as you can see I'm very upset.
