I was very impressed with the pleasant and courteous behaviour of all the staff on all shifts. I have a complex medical history, so I stayed 2 nights while a number of tests were taken to exclude possible problems. Being registered with My Health allowed the hospital access to previous tests and treatments and I am glad that I had not opted out. Fortunately, they were able to diagnose that my issue was a minor one that could be controlled with regular preventative medication. I have found that the medication has been most effective. I had a long wait in ED, but it was the Friday night of the Australia Day weekend, so I have no complaint about waiting, having rightfully been classed as a Category 4 priority. I was sent home with 2 large boxes of my new medication. Because I was on the 5th floor facing Perth, I even had a great view of the Australia Day fireworks. Bouquets to Ward 5A! !
