My partner was recently taken by an ambulance to Sir Charles Gairdner and admitted to Emergency Department. The reason for her admission was excruciating headache combined with nausea and failing consciousness. I explained to the paramedic that two of my partners relatives died through aneurysm upon which I was assured that Sir Charles Gairdner is a hospital with the best Neurology Department in WA and she will be checked MRI / MRA or CT.
I eventually left the hospital some five hours later only to be texted by my partner around midnight to my disbelief that she will be released from the hospital. Fortunately she fainted so she was kept in the hospital for another three days being treated with numerous sickness medicines which at times made her almost losing conscientiousness. Eventually she was released on the third evening - No MRI/MRA nor any other check for the potential aneurysm. In my opinion - absolutely shocking.
"Lack of diagnostic testing"
