About: Mead Centre (Assessment Treatment Team)

(as a parent/guardian),

I took my adult son to the Mead Centre concerned about his behaviour. After accessing my son they decided to admit him as part of the mental health act. My son was there around 4 weeks, he was discharged a week ago. They do a fantastic job at the mental health facility. The only problem I have is I think my son was discharged to soon. He lies about everything and is very good at it. I believe he tells the staff and doctors what they want to hear. He is still living on the streets and often gets paranoid and angry and is still seeing things. I am unsure if he is still taking his medication. I can only hope he can stay safe.
