My child recently underwent surgery to have a cancerous tumor removed from their jaw line and the surgeons and nurses were absolutely brilliant. However after spending 6. 5 hours in day surgery and needing a good rest afterwards my child was placed and forced to stay in a cramped messy ward with 6 patients, 3 being older than my child and 3 being babies, no more than 12 months old. Placed only 6 feet away either side. I understand that babies need surgery, but why are teenagers forced to share with young babies that cry all night and all day. To whom it may concern, 3 babies crying in one room is not a relaxing atmosphere for any teenager or parent.
