My mother had a large stroke and ended up at Sunshine Hospital.
The care of the nurses on the ward was not great. We were sitting with Mum for hours and the only time we saw nurse was if they had to come in for observations, or a machine went beep.
One morning she fell out of bed.
I understand they are busy, and patients are demanding, but there seem to be a lot of staff about and not much care.
She had been to Sunshine before and I felt the same thing, (she'd fallen out of bed then too). Maybe they are focused on the new hospital, and old people don't matter.
