"Respite"

About: Life Care Reynella Lodge

(as a relative),

My parent was at Reynella Lodge for respite. As my parent has no short term memory they were put in the dementia area. They had no need for this and found it very distressing as there was lots of yelling and residents entering their room who wouldn't leave and were frightening them. At no time was there an offer for them to be relocated upstairs. The staff were lovely and so was the food.
