"Outstanding care and professionalism at The Alfred and Wonthaggi Hospital"

I have spent a great deal of time in the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne where they have saved my life at least twice and extended it much more with their talented medical staff.

The surgeons working at this amazing hospital, the professors, radiologist, pathologist, physiotherapist and most importantly the caring, considerate, cheerful and merciful nursing staff are to all be congratulated on their professionalism.

I have spoken highly of the Alfred Hospital and rightfully so and now I want to add the Wonthaggi Hospital at Bass Coast Health and all its staff to the same high levels of professionalism and care and although the Wonthaggi does not have the surgeons or the equipment to do complex medical procedures they are able to quickly diagnose a patient and ensure they are transferred to the appropriate hospitals, such as the Alfred, for treatment.

Given my experiences at both the Alfred Hospital and the Wonthaggi Hospital where I have found that the quality and variety of the food supplied to the patients to be vastly superior to that of the Alfred Hospital and I wish to congratulate and thank the chef’s and kitchen staff on their professionalism and maybe even with a vastly smaller budget in comparison to the Alfred you are able to prove your superior skills and I encourage them to continue their great work.
