"No consideration for individual circumstances when providing patient transport"

About: Wagga Wagga Base Hospital

(as the patient),

I was told that a community car was arranged to bring me home from hospital. It is an hour and a half trip. I was picked up by a small bus that also had to pick up people at a shopping centre, we had to wait one hour at the shopping centre. The bus was rough to ride and I was in pain all the way home as the bus bounced up and down, it was not a car as I was told by hospital staff. If I had known I would have stayed in a motel until the next day so I could get a car to come and pick me up. This bus is not suitable for people with stitches to be transported in, make sure your staff don't do this again. Do not arrange this bus as patient transport a day after an operation, it is more suitable for fit people with out stitches. Now I am in more pain

I can not complain about the hospital service though, 10 out of 10 there.
