"Community/Population Health Immunisation Clinic"

About: Geraldton Community Health Service Geraldton Population Health Unit

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

Just wanted to provide feedback as both a consumer & a staff member on how easy it was to make an appointment for Immunisations, how quickly we were seen upon presenting to the appointment, how efficient the receptionist was in checking our Medicare Cards were updated on the system & how caring she was in checking we had waited the required time after the immunisation to be able to safely leave.

The Child Health Nurse on duty were both informative, able to relax and reassure us as we both received immunisations and were gentle with our grandchild while they got their flu booster . 

Our grandchild loved the addition of the wall mounted activity centres and it was great that our grandchild could play with them while we waited .

The Child Health team strive to provide high quality, compassionate, professional care and you and your grandchild’s positive experience is a great example of the work our teams do every day. I was so pleased that they were able to relax and reassure you about having your vaccinations as it can be a little bit nerve racking. I will take great pride and delight in passing on your thanks and acknowledgement to our very committed team.
