"Getting Old"

About: Beechworth Health Service Residential Aged Care

(as the patient),

I live at Stringy Bark Lodge. I have Parkinson's Disease which frustrates me but I am in the best place. If only I wrote better, saw better, talked better, heard better and walked better.  I am well looked after by people around me who smile no matter how they feel and what troubles they have. I love the garden and I walk each day if the weather is good. I have three beautiful children and I had wonderful parents I know loved me. I am truly blessed. I am proudly a Queenslander.

Dear atlaswx45,

Thank you so much for sharing your reflections of your experience in Stringybark Lodge at Beechworth Health Service. We are equally proud of our gardens and we are planning to enhance our outdoor experience for residents at Beechworth Health even more so into the future.

If there is anything more we can assist you with in relation to your interests, we would be very pleased to talk with you about that.

Thank-you for sharing your reflections and we are all looking forward to some of the weather that you are more familiar with from your time in QLD and that our QLD friends are currently enjoying.

Kind regards

Mark Ashcroft
