Attended the Emergency Department (ED) with my child recently. A long wait in emergency (5 plus hours) but very pleased with Triage Nurse on duty - possibly named Czaer.
I felt he was very comforting to all in waiting room, checking on everyone over time, asking if anyone was cold, offering out blankets to those waiting. Informing people of their wait times without being asked from them and being addressed personally as if he had memorised each patient's name and condition that was in the waiting room.
I have been to ED many many times, in fact, a 6 hour wait the week prior with my spouse, and never had any Triage Nurse come out and interact with those who are waiting the way this Triage Nurse did. I have seen them come and take obs or hand out medication. But just in a routine and number-in-queue manner. This Triage Nurse was personal, energetic and clearly passionate and compassionate. We need more like him. He is an asset to your team.
"Excellent Triage Nurse"
