"Dangerously apathetic healthcare"

About: GPs in the Fadden Electoral District

(as a relative),

I brought my elderly relative for evaluation of weight loss and a several days old toe injury that was steadily becoming more painful. I believe a possible fracture, foreign body, infection or hematoma. The doctor failed to check the patient's weight and did not even lay their hands on the patient's foot, or toe, to assess for warmth, rule out infection, etc.

They diagnosed a hematoma (which was there for days) and prescribed ice. I believe this is dangerous since that would delay resorption of a hematoma and decrease peripheral blood flow. The doctor also failed to prescribe basic first-line controlled medication for symptomatic relief of a viral upper respiratory infection. I believe they should be ashamed to call themselves a doctor.
