Was wondering why there is not a nurse buzzer in the Intensive Care Unit.
I know it is one-on-one care but when I was there recently my carer went on a break and told the person on the other side they were going. Well the person must of got busy around the same time I started vomiting and missed the bag and had it running down my neck. I tried to call out but no one could hear me, even people walking by. I realise I ended up being fine but I could have choked.
I probably could have used a buzzer.
