"ED visit with toddler"

About: Wonthaggi Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

We had a toddler with tummy pain that had settled down by the time we attended the Emergency Department and we were seen quite quickly. We were never made to feel silly for coming up, and the senior doctor came to assess bub as well. I felt very reassured and was confident with the advice and care we received. Great services provided by the Triage Nurse Von, Doctors Matthew and Mal and the lovely ward clerk, Lisa!

Dear happybub,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. It is a very stressful time when you have a young child in pain so I am very pleased our Emergency Department staff were able to provide reassurance and management strategies. The staff will be very pleased to receive your feedback. I hope all is well with your toddler now.

Best wishes

Noni
