"Wonderful care in ED"

About: Esperance Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I arrived very early in the morning at the Emergency Department (ED) in considerable pain -finally going to ED to seek help after an injured leg was not getting any better - but felt worse.

The triage nurse was kind, caring and I felt really listened to. All the staff were very kind and although ED was very busy they still took time to check on me and let me know when I would be seen and the plan for attending to me.

It was the many little things that went to make this experience so positive, such as staff members making sure that patients had water and a pillow in just the right place to be as comfortable as possible. I wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks, it’s these things that really make an impact.
