"Cancelled appointments"

I have been on the waitlist for many years for Laparoscopic surgery, or a hysterectomy. When I was first diagnosed with advanced endometriosis, I had top private health insurance that would have paid for everything but instead, they stuck the Mirena IUD in me and sent me home.

I have deteriorated now to being diagnosed with Evil Triplet Syndrome where I bleed from the bowel and loss of bladder control making me feel like killing myself. Rockingham Gynaecology is still cancelling my appointments. I feel they do not understand my desperate situation that has had a devastating impact on my health. Recently the Registrar downgraded me from the urgent Category 2 to a Category 3 and re-referred me to Fiona Stanley Hospital where I have to wait about three years. After a lot of conflict, they have put me back in Category 2, but I feel that as I go into the Clinic to fight for myself that I'm likely to receive a lecture and another rejection simply for trying to get the operation booked.
