"Staff attitude at the night Emergency Department"

About: Armadale Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

OMG, I have never been treated so poorly with the person in charge at the night Emergency Department. I feel they were was extremely rude and arrogant and didn't even consider the reason why I came here in the first place.

I know that they are busy, I gather that, but it is not right to treat a person who has anxiety and came via ambulance.  I think - is this the way this person treats others?

I asked them nicely if they could help me with the cab and they said it's no excuse that your family is asleep.  Well, it's the last time I even ask for help. I believe that's bl*** rude with no respect for those who need help.

The other staff and doctors were fine.

Thank you for advising me of your experience in the Emergency Department. I am very sorry to hear that a staff member was rude to you when you requested a cab to assist you home. Our overall team in the Emergency Department are committed to providing quality and compassionate care. Your story certainly does not support that you received care as we intend to provide it.

The comment you have provided is totally unacceptable. I would like to follow up with the individual personally. To do this I would need some further detail.
