"Excellent service and care"

I am writing to thank and compliment all the staff that attended to me at Gosford Hospital. From my entry to accident and emergency with the triage nurse, to the staff in acute care, the staff in short stay ward and the staff in H3.

From the many Drs I have seen, the kitchen staff and the cleaning staff. From the time I entered Gosford Hospital recently nothing was too hard for any of the staff. I was seen by triage within 3 mins, I was then in a bed in acute care within an hour, then moved to short-stay care after treatment was commenced in acute care. After seeing more Drs I was moved to H3 ward where the same care and attention was given to me as in the other 2 wards. When I pressed a call buzzer for help the staff responded immediately, if they couldn’t attend to my needs they made sure they contacted the correct person and explained what was happening. Nothing was ever a problem for them.

I work in aged care and I know the pressures all the staff in hospitals are under. I feel I will never agree with anybody who feels they have a complaint with Gosford Hospital. I have had the best experience of care and treatment in Gosford Hospital and I would highly recommend it above any other hospital that I have been in, and I have been in quite a few.
