"Staff attitude towards my parent"

About: Waroona Nursing Home

(as a relative),

I arrived at the Waroona Nursing Home recently to find my parent upset. They told me that the day before they had rung the buzzer (my parent is bed ridden) and no one answered it for some time (almost half an hour) so my parent started to call out. An RN came in and told my parent to stop ringing the buzzer, stop calling out and behave themselves. So my parent cannot even ring the buzzer anymore, so what happens if it is urgent and they can't get any help?

A couple of Green shirts (as I will call them) came in while I was there and changed my parent's wet pad and asked if they would like to be put back to bed (as my parent had been put in a fall out chair earlier). My parent said that if they went back to bed they would probably get into trouble by the said RN. My parent was clearly upset talking about it. The 'green shirt nurses' said no, that RN is on another ward. I asked what had happen and they confirmed what my parent had told me. I feel this needs to be dealt with, if I spoke to a customer like that I would be fired. I believe this is not the first time something like this has happened but I have been overlooking it, but it seems to be getting worse.
